How Essential Oils Affect the Body

Ever wondered about essential oils? In this class by Bill Callaghan, learn about what happens to the body when you use essential oils. Learn the many ways essential oils can positively affect your body and discuss several oils as well as what parts of the body they work best with. This class is FREE, but please pre-register below if you are interested in attending.

In this workshop by Deanna Hanson of Unwound Botanicals, you will learn the art of making Kombucha using ingredients from the Sno-Isle Co-op. You will also learn how to flavor your kombuchas, how to double ferment your kombucha, learn valuable tried and true recipes, learn how to maintain a healthy SCOBY, and taste some kombucha samples. You will also leave with your very own re-useable bottle with homemade kombucha ready for drinking. This workshop has a materials fee of $25, please pre-register below if you are interested in attending.
Massage Body Oils and Incense

In this workshop by Deanna Hanson of Unwound Botanicals, you will enjoy making massage body oils that are nourishing to the skin and understand arousing scent combinations to please yourself or your partner, just in time for Valentine’s Day. You will also learn the art of incense making, understand which herbs to combine to make delightful natural room fresheners and mood enhancers. You will also get sites for local resources to purchasing ingredients. Note many ingredients are found at the Co-op. You will leave with recipes and samples. This workshop has a materials fee of $35, please pre-register below if you are interested in attending.
March 6, 2014 6:00-8:00pm
In this workshop by Deanna Hanson of Unwound Botanicals, you will learn the basics of soap making, how to take accurate measurements, prepare, and use soap molds. You will learn when to add natural tints, clays, and scents. You will also learn how to cut, store, and package your soap. After the workshop, you will get a recipe, and 2 full sized bars of soap from class. This class only uses vegetable based ingredients and is for those who are 15 years or older. This workshop has a materials fee of $40, please pre-register below if you are interested in attending.
