All of our classes are hosted in the Co-op's 3rd floor classroom. The classroom is available to rent for meetings, small parties or activities to the community (Co-op member-owners get a special rate). Stop by and check it out. We'd be happy to show you inside.

Handmade Soaps

March 6, 2015 6:00-8:00pm

In this workshop by Deanna Hanson of Unwound Botanicals, you will learn the basics of soap making, how to take accurate measurements, prepare, and use soap molds. You will learn when to add natural tints, clays, and scents. You will also learn how to cut, store, and package your soap. After the workshop, you will get a recipe, and 2 full sized bars of soap from class. This class only uses vegetable based ingredients and is for those who are 15 years or older. This workshop has a materials fee of $40, please pre-register below if you are interested in attending.

Raw Food Class

March 7, 2015 10:00am-12:00pm

In this class by Maria Luisa, a raw food chef and certified instructor, learn about making healthy, delicious meals using raw and living foods. These foods are not processed, heated, cooked, or altered in any way, but remain in their natural state to be eaten whole or combined to make delicious meals. Learn about raw foods and their health benefits, taste some recipes, and learn about how to shop for these foods with a co-op tour. Class fee is $20. Please pay the instructor on the day of the class and register online if you are interested in attending.

Natural Household Cleaners

March 20, 2015 6:00-7:30pm

In this workshop by Deanna Hanson of Unwound Botanicals, you will learn how to make household cleaners that really work! Explore different recipes for getting rid of grime, soap scum, and dirt naturally. We will be mixing our own cleaner to take home and discussing which herbs make the best all purpose cleaners. Most of the ingredients can be purchased in the Sno-Isle Co-op. This workshop is 60-90 minutes with a materials fee of $15. Please pay the instructor on the day of the class and pre-register if you are interested in attending.

In this class by Kathleen Boehm of Puget Sound Hypnotherapy, learn how to reduce stress naturally and re-focus your life with hypnotherapy. Learn a totally natural way to decrease stress levels and increase happiness in your life. Class is FREE but please pre-register if you are interested in attending the class.
