The Board of Trustees

The Co-op is governed by a Board of Trustees (BOT), a dedicated, passionate group of volunteers. All trustees are democratically elected to act on behalf of the ownership. to set strategic plans for the Co-op’s future, and to ensure that the Co-op remains fiscally sound and operating within the cooperative principles. 

Board Committees

Nominating Committee is elected by the member-ownership to recruit new candidates for the Board and runs the election process for Board of Trustees. 

Community Engagement Committee:  Plans and organizes events, store promotions and takes part in community events. This committee is open to all co-op member-owners. 

Finance Committee: Ensures the fiscal integrity of the co-op and makes decisions concerning certain capital expenditures.

Policy Governance Committee: Reviews the policies governing the operations of the store and the board processes. The Board works with the Management Team to monitor compliance with policies.

Executive Committee: Made of the BOT officers and sets the agenda for Board meetings.


Board Meetings

The Board meets the first Monday of every month in the Co-op classroom from 6-8pm. All co-op owners are welcome to attend. By appointment, representatives from various organizations are welcome  to present information about their organization and the nature of a potential relationship.
