What is the Classroom?

The Classroom is Sno-Isle Food Co-op’s community space. Everyone is invited! Our classroom is intended to be used as a resource for education and creation. Guest instructors provide a variety of classes, from kimchi making to herbal medicines.

How to Host a Class

Step one: Apply! 
Our classes are scheduled on a quarterly basis*. The deadline for Host Applications are due the following days:
Fall Quarter: Due August 1st
Winter Quarter: Due November 1st
Spring Quarter: Due January 1st
*In 2018, the co-op will cease to hold a summer class quarter.

Step two: Receive Confirmation
After submitting a host application, our Outreach staff will contact you about scheduling your events date and time.  Our Outreach staff will also help to guide your through your registration set-up and understanding classroom details.

Sno-Isle’s Favorite Non-Profits
The Classroom is free to use, however we do require a donation be made to a Snohomish or Island County non-profit. If you would like some help deciding, we’ve got you covered.

Brown Paper Tickets Set-Up Guide
Sno-Isle Food Co-op is not responsible for the generation of ticket sales, though we will link your ticket outlet to our website. Our past hosts have often used Brown Paper Tickets. Another great ticket site is Event Brite.

Interested in hosting a class? Awesome! Your first step is to fill out our Host Application. Once your class has been approved, you’ll hear from one of our Outreach staff to discuss putting your class on the calendar!
