Important Update on Product Availability

Dear Co-op Community,

We are writing to inform you that there is a temporary disruption affecting our product availability. United Natural Foods (UNFI), the nation's leading natural foods distributor, experienced a cyberattack last week, forcing it to halt distribution and its ordering system temporarily.

As a result, products that we typically have on hand may not be available this week. This outage even affects some local products, as many smaller brands rely on UNFI for their distribution services.

However, our team sprang into action this weekend, increasing orders with other distributors and filling gaps on shelves with alternative products. UNFI will resume deliveries shortly, but it may take an additional delivery cycle or two to return to our "normal".

The good news is that, unlike the disruptions we all experienced in 2020, this is a short-term issue, and we know we will get through it with your support. We are fortunate to work with a variety of local vendors, as well as farmers and produce distributors, who are not affected by this outage. We will also continue to have a strong supply of prepared foods available in our deli, as well as a healthily stocked Bulk Department.

Thank you for your continued support of the Co-op, your patience, and the kindness that you show to our staff. We're proud to be Everett's only community-owned grocery cooperative. We promise to continue doing everything we can to keep our shelves as stocked and welcoming as possible.

In solidarity,

Staff of Sno-Isle Food Co-op
