Register Roundups
What are Register Roundups?
Co-op shoppers have the option to round up their grocery bill to the next dollar and donate to local nonprofit organizations chosen by our Co-op Owners. At the end of the designated Roundup period, 100% of these funds are donated directly to the organization to help them continue to support our community!
We launched our Register Roundups Program in 2018 and have been absolutely blown away by its success. Since then, we’ve raised more than $60,000 for local organizations!
How does the selection process work?
Anyone can nominate non-profits during the designated nomination period each year (June 1- August 1). Owners vote during our annual election (held in September) for their top eight organizations from the finalist pool, Co-op staff chooses the remaining four organizations based on community need throughout the year.
To qualify for Register Roundups, organizations must:
Currently be a registered 501(3)c nonprofit organization
Not be directly promoting/recruiting for a religious organization or political party
Be headquartered in and serving the Snohomish and/or Island county areas
Not have received funds through Register Roundup for the previous year*
