Community Space

Opening in April of 2024, the Community Space is in the location formerly known as our classroom. Everyone is invited! Located just off the main hall, this space is intended to be used as a resource for education and community involvement. Look for free community gatherings, workshops, and info sessions that will be listed over on our community calendar here.

Principle #5:
Education, Training and Information

Cooperatives provide education and training for their members, elected representatives, managers, and employees so they can contribute effectively to the development of their cooperatives. They inform the general public — particularly young people and opinion leaders — about the nature and benefits of cooperation.

PRINCIPLE #7:
CONCERN FOR COMMUNITY

We support economically, environmentally, and socially healthy and resilient local community through our co-op’s practices, policies, and programs. We work in cooperation with local governments, businesses, farmers, and others to improve the overall health of our community.

Teach with us!

Have an idea for a workshop or info session? Fill out this form below and a staff member will get back with you within 5 business days. We recommend filling it out at least eight weeks before proposed class date. Please review our Workshop and Info Session Guidelines linked below before submitting a proposal form. The classroom is currently closed but will re-open as our new Community Space in April of 2024.

Moving forward for 2024, workshops and info sessions will be offered as free, inclusive events taught on a volunteer basis.

*Please note that the Community Space will not available to outside groups/organizations to hold private classes, events for monetary gain, or to do fundraising.
