August's First Friday Tasting theme is “Tragical” Tea Party.
Inspired by Anne of Green Gables, the beloved book and television series, we bring you a “Tragical” Tea Party Tasting. While Anne’s tragical tea party featured currant wine and raspberry cordial-ours will feature Black Currant Cider from Finnriver Farm & Cidery and alcohol-free Raspberry Lemonade from Santa Cruz Organics. You can also sample some delicious new offerings we’re carrying in our deli bakery case like Macrina Bakery’s Gluten-Free Raspberry Lemon Loaf and Macrina Bakery’s Blueberry Coffee Cake Loaf alongside some other tasty treats.
Plus, we will unveil our new limited edition “Anne” themed mini tote bag at the tasting! We only made 50 of these, we can’t wait to show you. So gather your “bosom friends” and join “kindred spirits” for this delightful tasting inspired by Anne of Green Gables. And even if you’re not a fan or have never even heard of Anne of Green Gables, we’re sure you’ll have a great time sampling these delicious offerings.
