Message from our Board of Trustees

Dear Sno-Isle Food Co-op Owners,

As a community-owned Co-op, transparency and trust are core to who we are. You may have seen recent media coverage regarding a legal dispute involving our building. While we cannot share specific details of pending litigation, we want to reassure you that Sno-Isle Food Co-op remains fully committed to serving you and supporting our employees, while continuing daily operations without interruption.

For nearly 30 years, we’ve called the Everett Public Market home. Throughout that time, we have cared for the space and consistently worked in good faith with the building owners to address concerns as they arise. Over the past year, we have taken multiple steps to respond to requests made of us — including investing in upgraded equipment, engaging licensed professionals, and communicating openly and proactively. We remain committed to collaborating on solutions that preserve the integrity of this historic building and ensure a safe environment for everyone.

Most importantly, the heart of our Co-op hasn’t changed. We continue to provide healthy, locally sourced foods, support regional producers, invest in food-access programs, and serve as an anchor for our downtown community. Our cooperative spirit is strong, and we are focused on protecting the future of Sno-Isle Food Co-op for all 11,000 owners.

Thank you for your continued support, your patience, and your belief in what this Co-op stands for. We will keep you informed as we are able and will continue to approach this situation — and every challenge — with responsibility, care, and our community at the center.

With appreciation,

The Sno-Isle Food Co-op Board of Trustees
