Let’s get ready to crumble! Throughout March, a selection of the Co-op’s best cheeses go head-to-head to earn your votes, but only one will be crowned the Cheese Champ.

Brackets are in and it’s time to come taste cheeses and vote for your favorite during in-store sampling events. Follow along in-store and on our social media as the contest progresses to see if your bracket matches up with shoppers’ favorites. The Cheese Champ will be put on sale at the end of March and the folks who guessed the winning bracket will receive the cheesiest gift basket ever!

Cheese Madness FAQ

What is this?

A competition that pits 16 of our cheeses against each other to determine which one is best of the best. Customers had a chance to fill out brackets to guess the winning cheese (between March 9-16). Now it is time to taste and vote to determine which cheese will go on to the finale and be crowned the customer favorite! The winning cheese will take a victory lap with a sale price and the customer who guessed the winning bracket gets a cheesey gift.

Who can participate?

Anyone who wants to!

Do I have to pay to participate?

No! You can just get to taste some free cheese and vote on your favorites. Or just taste and enjoy the cheese.

How do I participate?

During our cheese tastings, come by the Cheese Madness table, set up in the middle of our Co-op. We’ll have cheeses there for you to taste, and you’ll be able to vote for your favorite by picking up a slip and dropping it into the voting box. Each sampling day, we tally the votes and the winners will go on to the next round and keep competing until there is only one left standing.

Why are the sample days and times different? Confusing? Not every day?

We tried to pick days and times that would allow the largest possible number of customers to participate, using the resources we had available. You are welcome to let us know what days you would like to see sampling events in the future! You can email info@snoislefoods.coop
