Will discuss an Environmental Medicine approach to improving sleep, as well as other key lifestyle factors. Aromatherapy for Chronic Pain

During this two-hour class we’ll talk about how the body perceives and communicates pain. Pain can become chronic due to miscommunication within the nervous system. We’ll make two blends to support the body when it feels pain. This class is designed to sooth the physical and neurological pain receptors. We’ll make an aromastick for supporting the neurological pain receptors and a whipped body butter for use on areas experiencing topical pain. All supplies will be provided.

Cost: $55 Pre-registration is required due to limited seating. Registration closes 10 days before class date.


Class led by Cynthia Tamlyn-CCA. Cynthia is a Certified Clinical Aromatherapist, Aromatherapy Educator, Aromatherapy Consultant and Aromatherapy Public Speaker.

Aromatherapy and School

In this 90-minute interactive open discussion, participants are free to ask questions as we discuss the many ways aromatherapy can support students throughout the school day without interfering with their peers' or educators' “air quality”. We’ll discuss specific issues in which aromatherapy can be used to support academic success and the steps you need to take for your student to use aromatherapy products on school grounds.

A research article from Harvard stated that chronic stress can dampen the immune system, increasing susceptibility to colds, high blood pressure,  heart disease, and other  health problems. New research even supports the notion that high levels of stress somehow speed up the aging process. Come learn different ways to reduce and manage your stress.
