Register Roundups

WHAT ARE THEY?

Co-op shoppers have the option to round up their grocery bill to the next dollar and donate to local nonprofit organizations chosen by our Co-op Owners. At the end of the designated Roundup period, 100% of these funds are donated directly to the organization to help them continue to support our community!

We launched our Register Roundups Program in 2018 and have been absolutely blown away by its success. Since then, we’ve raised more than $60,000 for local organizations!

HOW OUR SELECTION PROCESS WORKS

Anyone can nominate non-profits during the designated nomination period (June 1-August 1). Owners vote for their top eight organizations from the finalist pool, Co-op staff chooses the remaining four organizations based on community need throughout the year.

To qualify for Register Roundups, organizations must:

  • Currently be a registered 501(3)c nonprofit organization

  • Not be directly affiliated with a religious organization or political party

  • Be headquartered in and serving the Snohomish and/or Island county areas

  • Not have received funds through Register Roundup for the previous year*

Nomination form will be open June 1, 2024-August 1, 2024.

*By filling out this form, it is not guaranteed that your suggested organization will be automatically nominated for an upcoming Register Roundup and on the ballot. Please understand that Sno-Isle Food Co-op will review this application to ensure that organizations meet the requirements listed above. The DEI Committee will also screen organizations to ensure they fit within the Co-op's dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion and that we distribute funds broadly based on community needs. Because of an unprecedented amount of nominations, the DEI Committee may omit some nominees based on the criteria above to keep the ballot manageable.
