Evergreen Arboretum
Thank you volunteers - you are the life-blood of the Evergreen Arboretum. We have many ways to volunteer, from leading docent tours, teaching a gardening class, serving on our board, helping staff events, or just plain getting dirty on gardening and repotting days.

It's all great fun and you make wonderful friends. You might even learn more about gardening. When you volunteer you are automatically entered into a monthly drawing for various perks too. Come play in the dirt with us! You can choose to just show up on the workdays below and sign in to receive credit, sign up online here on our website, or call our message line at 425-257-8597.

Snohomish County Boys and Girls Club-North Everett Community Dinner Program
Our organization helps provide a safe environment for kids aged from 5-18. Our goal is to give the kids of Everett a good place to be and good influences to be around all while helping to get their basic needs met, including making a dinner 5 nights a week consisting of a protein, carb, vegetable, and fruit as well as a snack when available. We make food for 100 kids each night. Currently there is only one cook in the kitchen and extra hands would be helpful. Please email lwildish@bgcsc.org for information on how to volunteer.

Co-op Volunteer Opportunities

Below are some of our Spring/Summer Volunteer Opportunities here at the Co-op. Approved volunteers will also receive an email with volunteer opportunities. If you sign up to volunteer and are not an approved volunteer-your name will be removed.

Bulletin Board Cleanup
The Co-op maintains a bulletin board and shelving area in the hall north of the store. Volunteers go through items on the board to remove anything old (or inappropriate). Volunteers go through items on the shelves, cleaning the shelves with provided duster and organizing any papers/booklets as needed. Basically-keep the area looking nice for our shoppers! Should take about an hour.

Tabling at Everett Farmer’s Market
Hang out at the Co-op table during Everett Farmer's Market-handing out treats and helping to spread the word about the Co-op! More info about specific duties for set-up and take down to come. Location: downtown Everett!

Food Donation Runs
Run items from the Co-op to a local community fridge/pantry. Process takes about 2 hours, must have own car for transportation.

Artist Garage Sale Snack Team
The co-op will be providing snacks and drinks to the artists during this festival. We will need help getting everything ready the day before as well as help distributing the sandwiches the day of the festival.

Fresh Paint Lunch Volunteers
The co-op will be providing lunches to the artists during this festival. We will need help getting everything ready the day before as well as help distributing the sandwiches the first day of the festival.
